Julie Pope

Hi, I’m Julie.

Chicago-based actress, vocalist, mover, creative, etc.

I have survived (…and thrived) over 16 years as a full-time creative. I’ve worn many hats—all in the service of storytelling.

The source is a genuine love and curiosity for humanity (no matter how messy or weird and hilarious), and a connection to music and nature. All on a quest to understand the universe a little better.

Recent Highlights…

2026: I moved back to my home, Chicago. I’m represented by ATB Talent & Moxie Talent (Kansas City). I’m a current student at the Black Box Academy, and stay busy as a freelance vocalist.

Raffle (an indie comedy by Two Scoops Productions) will debut at Hobnobben Film Festival. I am the leading role. Stay tuned! Check out our previous film: Earlybird !

2025 Wrapped: Jane Fairfax/Emma U/S in Kate Hammill’s Emma at Kansas City Repertory Theatre, and Clue & Nunsense at Maples Repertory Theatre. Worked background on a vintage aircraft for John Travolta’s directorial debut. Supporting role in the indie short film; Trigger, which debuted at the Hip Hop Film Festival. Shot plenty of commercials, did a large voice-over for the EPA, and sang many gigs (including the October 12th Halftime Show for the KC Chiefs) with Kansas City’s award-winning cover band, Lost Wax.
