Julie Pope
Much like Kelly Bishop’s iconic bio from her 1976 Tony-winning portrayal of Shelia, I, too, have survived (and sometimes thrived) through over 12 years in show business. From chorus girl and understudy, to international vocalist and film actress, voice-over work, and live music…I’ve worn many hats—all in the service of storytelling.
Based in Kansas City and Chicago, I work as a freelance actress, vocalist, and VO artist. I dabble in dance, piano, pottery, and writing to feed my soul—and bring the same creative energy to my other roles: part gym owner, former nutrition coach, and podcast host.
I have a freakishly large energy store for live performance and working on art, mine or others. This is fed by my genuine love and curiosity for humanity (no matter how messy), passion for music, and undying quest to understand the universe a little better.
Welcome!
